Maddison's First Soccer Game

We were all so excited for Maddi's first soccer game.

I was escpecially emotional since this was my first experience with a child in a REAL game. Greg and I are so proud of her.

It was such a pleasure to get to meet Barry, Amy, and Gage. Amy is related to one of my favorite people in the whole world.....Stacey Love. Stacey and her mother Charlotte gave Amy a gift certificate for her baby shower.

I had no idea how Maddison's first sports experience would affect me. She hasn't even had a game yet and I am already filled with pride. To see the true joy on her face has been so fulfilling for me.

Maddison's First Day of Pre-Kindergarten

When Greg and I got married we knew that we wanted kids immediately. God had different plans. It took four years for our first baby girl, but it was worth the wait! Then almost three years after that we got our second baby girl!

That baby girl is the one that is starting preschool and the older one is in Pre-Kindergarten.

I love my girls! I am so proud of them and can't wait to see who they will become over the years.

Let's Go Climb A Tree!

Maddison's last day of preschool was yesterday. She was happy for the party but sad to leave her friends.

Due to my going back to college....we had to make some tough preschool decisions for the girls. It ended up that Maddi was eligible for the North Coffee Preschool. So we will be able to send her there and enroll Ella into the Methodist Preschool.

Maddison has had her best preschool year so far. Ms. Theresa was exactly what Maddi needed in a teacher. LOVING! CARING! PATIENT! FUN! Maddi was also lucky to be able to blend with the other preschool class and those teachers.

I know Maddi will miss seeing all of you in the halls but Ella and I will be there.

After months of having to cancel for rain.......for conflicting events.......for an old car that was being grumpy.......we finally were able to meet up and finish Jamie's Senior Pictures.

Jamie wanted some pictures taken with her Poppy's old Model A. My husband has the privilege of now owning it and he is very proud.

We had to due a late afternoon so the sun was bright and low but I think we got some great pictures.

Backyardigans Live!

Greg and I took Maddison on a special "BIG GIRL" weekend. Maddison had seen the advertisement for the Backyardigans Live Tour and was bummed out when I told that they were not scheduled to come near our house. After some searching I discovered that they were going to be in Paducah, Kentucky. Greg and I decided that was not too bad of a drive so we decided to head up there for a few days.

I was unable to find a Backyardigans shirt that fit Maddi so my mother-in-law made an amazing shirt for her to wear. She loved it!

We had a great first day...did some shopping!

The morning of the show we headed down to the hotel restaurant. While sitting there I overheard some people talking and they mentioned the Backyardigans. I told Maddi that I thought they might be with the show. So of course she started staring. One of the girls came over to talk to Maddi. She commented on her shirt being of Tasha....then she told Maddi that SHE. WAS. TASHA.!!!! Maddi flipped out. She was so sweet to Maddi. Then we met another girl who said SHE. WAS. UNIQUA.!!!!! They were both so nice and asked Maddi her name and where we were sitting.

Okay....so the show was AMAZING! During the finale....they were dancing and Uniqua said "Hey let's all dance. Come on Maddison!" So Maddi, of course, freaked out and I got a little teary-eyed. What a cool moment for Maddi! So then Tasha starts saying hi to the different levels. When she gets to the balcony she said "Hi everyone in the balcony. Hey Maddison!" and acts like to she is waving just at her. SO COOL!!!!!

So anyways....Maddison had a great time and it was awesome for Greg and I to get to see our daughter so HAPPY!!!!

Easter

Since it decided to be FREEZING on Easter, I was unable to get any good pictures of the girls in their Easter dresses. So I plan to get them dressed up again when the weather is nice.

So after church the girls got warmer clothes for the egg hunt. Even though they didn't have their dresses on....I still thought they looked pretty!

Kite Flying!

My two nephews came over to enjoy the beautiful weather.

We decided to give kite flying a try. We have tried before without success. We were surprised with how well we did and the kids really enjoyed it. I must say though that my sister-in-law and I enjoyed it more than they did.

Lion Country Safari

Another fun thing we did in Florida was going to Lion Country Safari. It has a safari ride plus lots of rides and other fun activities. We had a blast!

The highlight of the trip, for me personally, was the giraffe feeding. If I had to choose a favorite animal....it would be the giraffe.

It was amazing to see the kids so close to such an extraordinary animal.

Florida Vacation

I was so ready for Spring Break! My Mom and I decided to take the girls to Florida to visit family.

Maddison loves to go to Florida and she desperately needed to go to the beach. (You know how four year olds are...right?) I must say that I was also ready to get away.

So we headed out with a stock pile of brand-new never before seen DVDs and toys.

This was Ella's first trip to the beach. She was not too happy about the fact that she was getting gross, sticky, yucky stuff on her. She kept her little hands up in the air for must of the time. She was so darn cute.

Cooper Love

My oldest nephew, Justin, was baptised yesterday morning.

Justin has and will always had a HUGE place in my heart! He was the first grandchild born and he was born right after the lose of my Grandfather. His little soul helped me through some very tough times!!!!! We have always been the best of buds. As he has gotten older and as I have had children of my own....that special bond has waivered a little bit. But I know that deep down it will always be there...forever.

I have really enjoyed viewing other blogger's 2007 reviews. I thought I would repost some of my favorite pictures from this past year. I have truly been blessed with the business I have gotten since May. Besides my family...I most re-thank Stacey Love. As you can see about half of my favorites are of her family!!!! Ella's First Hair Cut

I am definitely one those people who is extremely emotional.

So, when my BABY finally got so past the "I need a hair cut" stage that she began to eat her hair......I was about to have a break done.

Well I sucked it up and headed to hair shop.....when I got there I realized I forgot my camera!!!! I literally almost hyperventilated!!!! Well luckily my hairdresser had her camera in her car.

Ella did great and she looks great with her big girl hair cut.

It is also good that this next picture helped me photographically document her chipped teeth.

Let me say...I am a terrible mother.........I have NO idea when it happened. I also most admit my first thought was not..."Oh NO her teeth".....it was "GREAT now she will have chipped teeth in all of her pictures until she looses them. (Well we do live in Tennessee.) That is the photographer in me!!!!!!!

Even with chipped teeth, I still think she is the cutest 15-month old!!!!!!

Maddison's Fourth Birthday Party

This year Maddison decided on a Hello Kitty Birthday Party.

I, once again, headed to the Kake Lady for the cake. I had decided on a "Mad Hatter" shape with Hello Kitty. She did an incredible job and the cake tasted AMAZING!!!!

Maddison was so excited to have all of her best friends at the party. Maddison loved all of her gifts and appreciated them very much.

I love Christmas!!! I asked my sister-in-law, Tammy, to take our Christmas pictures this year. As those of you with children know....it is NOT easy to take pictures with children.

I was so proud of Maddison...she did great!! Ella, on the other hand, was a little ornery.

I absolutely loved their dresses this year. I always say the Children's Place is my addiction!!!

I am so blessed to have such an amazing family!

Reminisce

I titled this post "Reminisce" for two reasons. The first reason is...the holidays make me reminisce about times past. Greg and I have been together for over twelve years (eight of those married). We have had many good times and quite a few bad times, but we always have made it through....together. The second reason is....the necklace I am wearing in this picture was made for me by the very talented Tabetha Sullens from "Reminisce Heirlooms". I am so in love with this necklace! I met with Missy and Todd during my day in Smithville. I was happy to get to know them better, since I had heard such great things about them from Stacey Love.

So....this was my first experience photographing animals!!!!! I must say I was a little apprehensive about it, but overall it turned out well.

The Love family live on beautiful property. After our cowboy sessions Josh, Cooper, and I rode down to the creek. Cooper enjoyed throwing rocks in the water, but REALLY enjoyed it when his Grandpa threw in rocks that made a BIG splash. This is the way we FINALLY got Cooper to smile. Cooper is definitely a very serious, but sweet little boy. He is all business when it comes to being like his Daddy.

A Little Clarification

I have had several comments on my header picture. I wanted to let everyone know that the picture is of Josh and Stacey Love, carrying Cooper and Cody, walking up the hill to their house. My original plan was to get some pictures of them with their beautiful home in the background, but as they were walking up I saw the trees and the gorgeous sky. I absolutely LOVE this picture. I think it is my new favorite!!!!!!

Cooper Love

People love to tease me about my OCD!!! For example, Stacey Love knows that it absolutely drives me crazy not to look through my pictures right after a session. She also knows that it kills me when I can't put a few pictures on my blog right away. So she always teases me!!!!

Well, I love the LOVE family!!!! Stacey has been an amazing friend to me and I feel like I am part of her huge family. I met with all of them yesterday and spent the entire day.

When I say the entire day I mean the entire day!

From 9am to 8pm!

We had a blast. We did several different mini sessions throughout the day.

The first session was with Mr. Cooper Love! Cooper is all cowboy. This family is all cowboy. There home is all cowboy. And I love it!!!! I can't wait to see Cooper follow in the footsteps of his elders and became a REAL cowboy some day. I am so in love with these pictures of Cooper showing off his cowboy ways. By the way, Cooper's daddy, Josh, IS a REAL cowboy.

So, I had to go ahead and post these pictures from our COWBOY session.

Ms. Amy is one of my Maddi's preschool teachers, so I was excited when she asked me to take some pictures of her family. I must say that they have extremely well behaved and sweet kiddos. I loved spending time with them!
